A waste we're not always aware of. At Laboté, we believe another model is possible because we're convinced that if we too often forget products at the back of our bathroom cabinets, it's because they don't meet our skin's needs. So, for the past four years, we've been creating skincare formulas in our own laboratory in Paris that target the real needs of each of our clients, freeing ourselves from all the traditional segmentations that contradict a scientific truth: every skin is unique.

Our method

We started from scratch:

  • We don't have a standard formula; we create the right blend for each skin type based on a diagnosis.

  • We only manufacture what our clients ask us to manufacture. Everything is made locally in Paris by a team of Doctors of Pharmacy and formulators.

  • We rely on a patent to formulate our clients' skincare products in 7 minutes, without mechanical or thermal energy.

  • We use fresh medicinal plants, still rich in active molecules, to target the needs of each skin type.

  • We use glass bottles, we do not add secondary packaging and ship directly from the laboratory to our customers.

The result: improvement. For our customers, who have finally found the cream that suits their skin, but also for the environment. Because no longer throwing away creams means contributing to the reduction of waste generated by the standardized cosmetics industry.

2021: We're taking action to make beauty more responsible

We invite you to declutter the many jars of creams and facial treatments that are piling up unnecessarily in our bathrooms. Convinced that ultra-personalization is the answer to overconsumption, we are launching a nationwide campaign to give them a new life. After disinfection, these jars will be filled with custom-formulated creams, created based on your personalized skin analysis and produced on demand by our Doctors of Pharmacy. Each jar will be relabeled with your initials and formula numbers.

TO PARTICIPATE, COME ON FEBRUARY 18TH:

  • In store: Bring your old jars of cream, any brand, to the Laboté laboratory located at 3 rue Keller, in the 11th arrondissement of Paris. There, they will be disinfected and repackaged with a freshly prepared, 100% personalized formula (a blend of medicinal plants tailored to your skin, with a texture and fragrance to suit your preferences). Beforehand, consider completing your online skin analysis.

  • Online: Take your skin quiz online, then choose to have your cream packaged in a pouch made from upcycled apple peels. Your package will include instructions and a personalized label so you can repackage your old jars yourself.

Laboté also offers to recycle cosmetic packaging free of charge, regardless of brand, thanks to the Zero Waste BoxTM from TerraCycle®.
